ORIGINS OF ‘RAINBOWS AND SMILES’
In 1966, I emigrated to Canada from Australia. Late that year, I
began signing off my correspondence with “Rainbows and Smiles’. I
found a desire to create my own epilogue. I was finding myself, my
own identity.
Rainbows representing the natural beauty of our world, smiles the happiness, humour and fun we can share in life. Since those days, I sign off bidding the reader, “Rainbows and smiles”. It has been accepted refreshingly, for its objective and goodnatured wish.
